We had an amazing time at this cozy lodge surrounded by nature. The cabins were simple but comfortable, with clean sheets and cozy beds. The location was perfect, with the cloud forest just a short bus ride away and a delicious Italian restaurant nearby. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the trails on the property allowed us to see beautiful birds and butterflies.

The lighting in the cabins could be improved to provide better visibility, especially in the bathroom for shaving or doing makeup.

I had a great two nights at a lovely place called El Bosque. The staff, especially Daniel, were extremely helpful and informative. The cabin I stayed in had a double bed and a great shower with hot water and good pressure. I had the best two nights of sleep during my entire trip to Costa Rica. The night tour on the hotel grounds was a lot of fun, and I saw beautiful birds, frogs, spiders, and even a howler monkey. I also enjoyed dining at the Italian restaurant, Tramonti, which offered a discount to El Bosque guests. The location was perfect for our short time there with several restaurants, a coffee shop, and a whole foods store nearby. The breakfast was delicious, and the grounds were a bird watcher's paradise. I had an amazing stay at El Bosque Trails & Eco-Lodge and would highly recommend it.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout my entire stay. Additionally, there were two great restaurants and a charming café nearby, ensuring a convenient and enjoyable dining experience. The breakfasts served were absolutely delicious, making for a delightful start to each day.

The location of the hotel was excellent, just a short walk to the main road and close to restaurants and shops. The grounds were well-maintained and provided a tranquil atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing useful information and recommendations for activities in the area.

The walls in the rooms were quite thin, which made it difficult to sleep due to noise from neighboring rooms. The cleanliness of the rooms could also be improved, with some food smears on the walls and a wad of tobacco found under the bed.

The hotel is located in a convenient area with easy access to nearby reserves and attractions. It is just a short walk away from the Children's Eternal Rain Forest and the Curi-Cancha Reserve. Guests can also take a bus directly to the Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve. Plus, there are great dining options nearby, including an Italian restaurant on the property and a highly rated bakery across the street.

The hotel facilities could use some updating, as some guests have experienced issues with the toilet not flushing properly and the shower having low water pressure. Additionally, the continental breakfast served may not be filling enough for some guests who prefer a more substantial meal.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and pleasant, especially Elizabeth at reception. She went above and beyond to answer all of my questions and make sure I had everything I needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and had a rustic charm that blended well with the natural surroundings. Great location near Santa Elena and Monteverde. Night tour offers sightings of tarantulas, walking sticks, Coati, and opossum. Nearby coffee shops and a "Whole Foods" store. Helpful and friendly receptionists provide tour recommendations and arrange them for you. Beautiful lodge in the forest with spacious and clean rooms. Delicious breakfast and the opportunity to see Capuchin monkeys.
